New construction of a 96 unit mixed use development, involving three stories of underground parking and 2 five story buildings with mixed commercial space. This project was originally being negotiated with another Contractor. Synergy was asked by the Developer to do a peer review of the costs. After reviewing the report the developer decided to negotiate the contract with Synergy Construction, Inc.
After 6 months of pre-construction services, during which competitive bids were obtained and value engineering performed, a lump sump contract was signed.
Completion of this project was critical due to being partially financed thru tax credits. These credits could be lost if the project was not completed on time.
